Tasty’s recipes have taken the internet world by storm, especially our Facebook timelines. Their recipes are supposedly easy to make and yummy as hell. I for one have been dying to try any of their recipes for months now, but I have been putting it off. Until one afternoon, my mum surprised me with a tasty-inspired meal. She cooked for us Chicken Fajita Quesadillas, which was the best Fajita I have ever eaten in my life. It was honestly one of the tastiest meals I have ever tried! And I didn’t even know it was a Tasty recipe until later on. ٍSo I decided to give it a shot, and now Tasty’s Chicken Fajita Quesadillas has easily become one of my current favorite home-made recipes.
YOU WILL NEED…
chicken breasts
fajita seasoning
1 sliced onion
4 sliced garlic cloves
3 sliced bell peppers
1 lime juice
8 tortillas
cheese blend
In a large bowl, add the chicken breasts and fajita seasoning then mix them well. Leave them to rest for 1 to 2 hours in the refrigerator. I personally prefer to leave them overnight so that the seasoning has been well infused into the chicken breasts.
Transfer to an oiled pan and cook at low heat during the whole thing. Just before the chicken fajitas are fully cooked, add the sliced garlic, onion, peppers and lime juice and leave them for a few more minutes. Remove the fajitas from heat once they are fully cooked and slightly charred.

In a clean pan, melt a bit of butter. Add a tortilla and wait until it’s buttery. Add some of the cheese blend, then the fajita mixture, then more cheese, maybe any kind of sauce you like, then top with another tortilla. Now for the hard part; you need to flip the quesadilla over and cook the other side until it’s golden. Remove from pan and cut into quarters. Enjoy!
