I’m one of those people who believe that one should spoil oneself on a daily basis, or at least, on a weekly basis. Whether you lead a stressful life or a spoiled one, it’s essential to zone out every now and then and just enjoy your own company. So if you don’t usually do that, I think Christmas could be the perfect timing for you to start pampering yourself.
For those of you who don’t know, I’m a Pharmacy student in my junior year which means I live a very stressful academic life. And because I love to challenge myself and always try to do the best I can in anything, I’m doing blogmas which means I added one more thing to my plate that can barely fit everything on it. And don’t even get me started on my personal life because I cannot keep up with it either. With that being said you can obviously conclude that I myself live a stressful life, which brings me to my point that it’s essential to unwind from time to time so that you can lead a healthy life as well.
With all the Christmas-themed food and products in the market now, you won’t find trouble getting things that would help you chill down. So I thought I’d show you how I’m going to spoil myself this Christmas so that you could easily spoil yourself too:
1) Have a bath. Using Lush bath products and Bath and Body Works candles, you can make yourself the most relaxing bath ever. There is a lot of variety when it comes to the products in both shops, so you get to enjoy a different kind of relaxing bath every time you get in there. My mum doesn’t like to take baths because she believes it’s literally sitting in your own dirt; that’s exactly what Chandler Bing first said before he got into the one Monica made him. So if you’re like my mum and Chandler Bing, just have a quick shower before you get into the bath tub and, I promise you, you’ll feel very calm afterwards.
2) Christmas TV Episodes or Christmas Movies. While you’re in the bath tub, put a Christmas movie or an episode on. It will definitely help you lose yourself to the festivities of this time while you detach from your life for a night. Or if you just want to close your eyes and sit quietly for a few minutes, put some Christmas music on instead.
3) Christmas Pajamas. There are a couple of cute Christmas pajamas I came across the past couple of days but the Elf pajama is the one that stood out to me the most. I think you all will feel the same way because apparently everyone but me loves Elf the movie so much that it is probably their favorite Christmas movie ever, so there is a great chance this is your favorite pajama this holiday too.

4) Christmas Fairy Lights. Whether you have a Christmas tree in the house or not, you need to buy fairy lights – for they will keep you cozy on pamper nights. There are white lights and rainbow ones; both will do the job but if it were me, I’d buy the rainbow lights to add color to the room and my mood.
5) Light a scented candle. I’m so obsessed with scented candles that whenever I go into a shop that sells them, I have to smell every candle in there. I’m no pro when it comes to scents so I can’t suggest candles for you; I just buy whatever smells extremely delicious to me.
Those were my top five tips to planning yourself a pamper night, which I basically do on a weekly basis, if not daily. Let me know in the comments below how you spoil yourself, or if you have one extra tip then please share it with me. Until tomorrow’s blogmas, cheers!
