This shall be the last summery post you’ll read on my blog this year; I mean, I did kiss summer goodbye, didn’t I? Plus, I cannot wait to get into the autumn and Halloween vibes. I have so many blog ideas in mind for October and I’ll do my best to put them all into effect. *fingers crossed*
September has been an enriching month for my blog; I’ve learned so much about blogging in so little time. Apparently, I shouldn’t just publish a post on my blog and wait for my organic views to increase. I need to constantly promote my blog on every social media out there and approach brands for collaboration. I need to read other blogs daily and leave comments too. I need to be active online for as many hours as I can and join twitter chats. I need to use blogging tools which I’ve recently found out about and make the best out of them. So like I said, it has been an enriching month as I’ve been trying to do all of the previous and I can already see my blog slowly growing. I made new blogger friends over twitter, I might possibly be collaborating with a brand and I’ve reached 8000 total blog views this month. There is a whole world to blogging other than just writing a post of good content that I didn’t know about and it has taken up most of my time, but I am loving it!
My blog posts have been very summery this September except for one and that’s because I obviously went on holiday. I feel like I’ve talked too much about it so I’m not going to ramble again for the 100th time, but you can read up about my holiday in Dahab here. When I came back home, it took me a while to realize that I’m back to the busy city life. I mean, for the first week, I couldn’t properly drive because I wasn’t used to the busy streets and rude drivers. For the first week, all mum and I wanted to do was to go back to Dahab. Because it’s the kind of place where one could enjoy serenity even if they have the loudest company ever. You need to add it to your “places to visit” list.

As much as September means saying goodbye to summer and hello to the start of exciting festivities, it also means that uni has started. I’ve always been the kind of person who hated going to school since I was a kid, because school means studying and I hate studying. I don’t mind learning new things as long as I’m not forced to, and my future doesn’t depend on it. I should learn new things because I want to, and because I think it’s useful to me. But that isn’t how the world works, huh? And that’s exactly why I’ve been a source of pure negativity especially for the past three years in uni. And since negative thoughts attract negative things, I haven’t been the happiest the previous years. Therefore, I decided to change this by shaking off the negativity and make the best out of uni. So I created a short list of resolutions for the new academic year and it has been working so well for me so far. I’m not the kind of person who thinks of resolutions for a new anything so I’m surprised it’s working. Have a look for yourself on my new uni resolutions and maybe you’ll get inspired to do the same thing too.
This month, I learned that you could achieve anything you want if only you truly put your head into it. I want to pursue a successful career in blogging and hopefully write a best-selling book one day, I have no idea how I’ll make this happen but I’m trying. I don’t want to be the kind of person who hopes to reach the sky and that’s all there is to it. I want to be the kind of person who hopes to reach the sky so I act on this hope until I finally make it up there next to the other stars one day. Zoella herself liked my tweet when I said something similar, so I’ll take that as a sign that I’m on my way to future success.
@GRLPOWRCHAT I want a future like @Zoella‘s; a successful blogger, author and youtuber. She’s the one who inspired me to blog. #GRLPOWR — Nour 🍁 (@ohmynour_) September 15, 2016
