There is a famous quote that says “If you want something, go get it” and that’s how I pushed through the very busy and stressful days of November. They were mostly rough and sleepless days but I made it through with the help of Christmas songs and self-motivation.
Almost each day of November, I googled positive quotes first thing in the morning and tweeted the one I liked the most; that’s how I got myself out of bed. Then along the day I’d go through the work of some modern influencers, how each went from nobody to someone people look up to; that’s how I kept myself motivated through the day. Personally, I believe it’s very important to constantly remind yourself of the fruitful future you’re currently working hard for, so that you wouldn’t lose sight of why you’re going down that road in the first place. Daily positive quotes and inspiring people are my current guide to my ever-so-prosperous future, so what or who is yours?
Around three months ago, I was blog-planning when I decided not to do blogmas this year. With my junior pharmacy studies, my busy life, and my blog schedule that I can’t normally keep up with because of uni, not doing blogmas seemed like a very reasonable decision. However, on the 15th of last month, I read other bloggers’ tweets about their blogmas plans and I was so bummed that I wouldn’t be able to do it. But because of my very competitive and perfectionist self, I completely ignored the fact that I literally have no time for blogmas and challenged myself to blogmas. So since mid-November, I have been swamped with extra blog work, the hectic last weeks of the semester and of course my life. That’s why I have skipped last week’s blog posts because I was busy doing other blog work; ironic ha? It has been Christmas at my home since mid-November; I’ve been listening to Christmas songs, watching Christmas movies, wearing my Christmas pajamas, and writing about Christmas too. I’m feeling very festive on my own already! Now it’s time for the rest of the world to feel festive too because we’re only 25 days away from Christmas day! LET THE COUNTDOWN BEGIN! *fires cannon ball*
I haven’t been as excited about anything related to my blog as I am about blogmas; I can’t wait to share with you all of my 25 posts (even though I haven’t even written half of them…) I’m literally just smiling at my laptop screen as I’m writing this. Hopefully, you’ll feel very festive and joyful too soon because it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Until tomorrow’s blogmas, cheers!
