My Ultimate Bucket List

I’ve never been good with lists; I’ve tried a hundred times before to make them but I never seem to keep them! I just think if it’s a bucket list then I don’t need to actually write it down because surely I know it by heart. Also, I can never create a music playlist; it’s either so hard to decide on the songs to be included or I easily get bored of it. The only list I think I can stick to is a grocery shopping list, and that’s probably because it only lasts for a few hours. However, I do like reading other people’s bucket list so I thought I’d put mine out there too for those who are as nosy as I’m and might be interested.
So here is a peek into some of my current wishes on the bucket list:
1) Visit all the famous graffiti spots in the world. Ever since I went graffiti hunting in Downtown Cairo last summer, I’ve been obsessed with them. I loved wandering the streets looking for graffiti and deciphering the artistic message they hold; they’re like street art exhibition. So a few months back, my friend and I came across a book that documents all the outstanding murals in different continents; I was blown away. Now every time I go to the bookshop, I always pick that book up and lose myself to the picture perfect graffiti. So maybe one day if I have the time and money, I’d see those graffiti with my own eyes, not just through a book.
2) Visit the Friends set in Warner Bros Studio. I grew up watching Friends with my mum, but back then I didn’t really get into it because obviously I was too young to understand the jokes. However, 4 years ago, I started rewatching Friends and it has been my number 1 all-time favorite show since then. It’s the kind of show I watch when I’m feeling down or when I have some extra time on my hand or on pamper nights. It has helped me get through some long road trips too. I think I’m currently rewatching it for the 6th time and I still laugh and tear up at the same scenes; I could never get bored of it, even though it’s kind of a playlist of episodes. So for a big Friends fan like me to visit its actual set is like a dream come true! I mean, just picturing myself sitting on their sofa draws a big smile on my face so imagine how happy I’d be if I actually do so. *happy sigh*
3) Spend a whole day with Roman Atwood and his family. I’ve been watching Roman’s vlogs for a year now and ever since then I’ve been obsessed. I watch his daily vlogs, his old vlogs, his pranks and recently, his fan-made videos. Roman is such an inspirational person, I truly look up to him; his lifestyle, his parenting, his relationship, his work and his extended family. He might possibly be my life coach with just the simplest advice one could give; smile more! So to be able to spend a whole day with his life-loving positive self would be amazing, and I’d forever feel extra special just because I got to do that. It’s a long shot bucket list wish but it’s not impossible so *fingers crossed*.
4) Go sky diving and bungee jumping. Now these are like the most cliché answers to the what’s on your bucket list question, and that’s because they’re one of the riskiest yet the best activities to be done. However, to me, they’re not just about the unforgettable adrenaline rush; they’re more about me challenging myself and overcoming my fear of heights. Years ago, I challenged myself to go on some dangerous theme park rides and even though I was shaky and scared, I pushed myself to give them a try; that day was one of the most enjoyable times of my life. And that’s how I plan to sky dive and bungee jump, with shaky legs that will lead me to hopefully one of the happiest moments of my life. I can’t wait to cross these off the list!
5) Spend Halloween, autumn and Christmas times in UK. As you probably know, we don’t really get to enjoy the above festive times in Egypt. So because I mostly watch British vlogs, I get to have a look at the UK during those periods and it’s always too festive it’s cheerful. I hope one day I’d get to give treats to kids who knock on my door in Halloween, embrace the autumn weather, and decorate my own Christmas tree.
6) Go to a scary farm house during Halloween. I’m the kind of person who easily gets scared of their own shadow. However, I’d like to try and go into a scary farm house during the spookiest time of the year. It’d be so much fun!
7) Visit the Seven Wonders of the World. How cool would it be to have a photo of myself standing in front of the Seven Wonders of the World? I think it’d feel like I’ve gotten to know the world a little better and become more familiar with it; some sort of pointless personal accomplishment.
8) Migrate. As much as I’d love to spend the rest of my life with my family, I’d love to immigrate and start a whole new life on my own. I want to have a new life with a new home, a new job and a new community. I want to find home in a place so far away from home. I don’t exactly know where that new home would be but it’ll be somewhere beautiful. If I could get any wish off this bucket list, it’d definitely be this one.
So these were only some of the things on my bucket list which I kind of lived in my mind as I wrote this post. I hope I get to cross as many as I can off the list in return for some happy memories and a happy life. Let me know in the comments below if there are any of my wishes you’d like to do too, or the coolest thing on your bucket list. I’d like to know you a little better!
