Ever since I posted my ultimate bucket list, the idea of creating another list has never been more tempting! So I thought it’d be a lovely idea to share with you my all-time favorite songs. This way, you get to know me a little better too, through just my taste in music. I personally believe that you don’t get to really know a person well until you listen to their music, even if you feel like you already know so many things about them. Because it’s in their music do you really get an idea of what goes inside of their mind.
My taste in music is usually a bit of pop, classic and country songs. I’m instantly hooked on whichever song I emotionally connect to and that’s when I truly listen to a song on repeat; unless it’s Christmas time, then all Christmas songs are always on repeat haha. Fun fact: I don’t download any song unless I’ve had some sort of a past experience that its lyrics reflect on. So I wasn’t joking when I said that sharing with you the following favorite songs of mine will give you an idea of who I am:
1) When a Woman Loves – R. Kelly
2) She Will be Loved – Maroon 5
3) Need You Now – Lady Antebellum
4) Say Something – A Great Big World ft. Christina Aguilera
5) You Lost Me – Christina Aguilera
6) Impossible – Shontelle
7) When I’m Gone – Eminem
8) Here Comes Goodbye – Rascal Flatts
9) Waving Flag – K’naan
10) Pocket Full of Sunshine – Natasha Bedingfield
11) More Than This – One Direction
12) Wait for Me – Motopony
13) Can I Have This Dance – High School Musical Cast
14) Sweater Weather – The Neighborhood
15) I Want to Know What Love Is – Terry McDermott
16) When I Look at You – Miley Cyrus
17) Kiss Me – Ed Sheeran
18) Never Stop – Safety Suit
19) Love on Top – Beyoncé
20) Like a Virgin – Glee
21) Like I’m gonna Lose You – John Legend ft. Meghan Trainor
22) Moments – One Direction
23) Stay with Me – Sam Smith
24) God Gave Me You – Blake Shelton
25) If I Die Young – The Band Perry
So there you have it; 25 songs that represent my past, my present and my future. And that is why I’m very picky when it comes to songs, because songs are supposed to express the feelings I fail at doing so if I don’t emotionally connect to one, I don’t personally too. On a side note, I feel like this is more of an insight on who I am more than just a list of music haha. Let me know in the comments below what is your favorite song of all time; I’d like to get a little insight on my readers too.
P.S. This Thursday, a new post will be up at our usual time, and that’s when the daily blogging starts until the 25th of December because I AM DOING BLOGMAS! *party poppers coming out of your screen* I’ll get into details later this Thursday but for now, get ready for some very Christmassy posts that will make you feel very cozy and festive!
